The Deerfield Beach Island Community Association (DBICA) adopted

three Deerfield Beach families through Big Brother and Big Sister of Broward County. This is part of DBICA’s mission statement of giving back to the community. The presents

were delivered by:

John Gaghan, mentor for Big Brother and Big Sister of Broward County; Dolly Dreyer, Dianna Martin and Carolyn Gaghan, DBICA members and Joe Miller, City Commissioner.

Great time by all at our annual Holiday party. A big thank you to the board

and membership for all the hard work during the

year.

DBICA is improving our island community and now 4 years strong !!!!

Thanksgiving is a time to

share and give back to the community.

Your association approved an

$500 donation to Gateway Community Outreach gateway letter

to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to those in need. Thank you for your support.

Third Annual DBICA Community Picnic

We had a wonderful turn out at our third annual community picnic. The weather was perfect for a picnic in the park. Everyone had a wonderful time meeting new friends and seeing old

neighbors. Did we mention the food; the food dishes were delicious and plentiful. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made our 3rd annual picnic a success ! See you at our next event !!!
